I am a mother of two beautiful girls and a baby boy on the way! I married my high school sweetheart in 2007 and we live in the country with our little kiddos. We are always working on projects around the house and I snag him to help me make backdrops or props for different photography shoots I do. We are very involved in our local church and Love the Lord, our wonderful Pastor and church family.  In July of 2013 our second baby girl was born with a cleft palate. We have gone through many struggles trying to find different ways to feed her and with the help of online support groups, family, friends, and local doctors we have made it through these past 8 months with a beautiful, chubby little girl who LOVES to eat! She will be having surgery Late May of this year to close the gap in her mouth. The picture above is our sweet Abigail and proud big sis Ava <3  

I am a  self-taught natural light photographer who specializes in Birth, Newborn, Family and Wedding Photography. I'm a southern girl at heart (even living here in Northern Virginia) who loves a glass of sweet tea, lazy Sunday afternoons with my family and traveling! I have always loved taking pictures growing up, and once I was expecting our first child, my husband bought me my first DSLR for Christmas. I started out with intention of just capturing my daughter as she grew....but soon found out that I really loved having all of those memories from the time she first entered the world until now framed and printed out for family and friends to see and cherish as she grows...So in February of 2010 I started HMN Photography to provide families with that personal, fun, and classic way to share their lives with each other through photos. 

This year we are opening a studio in Remington, VA on Main St. I wanted to give families an affordable way to get good quality pictures taken that aren't your typical run of the mill studio look.
